How operating System takes control
when we switch ON the computer certain logical steps are perform these steps are:

Following Booting process are:
1. POST (Power On Self Test ):-
POST stands for 'Power On Self Test'.
In this step Operating System checks the how many devices are connected with computer.
2. BOIS Routine (Basic Input Output System):-
Basic Input Output System (BIOS), In this step OS checks the status of memory ,Input and Output devices such as RAM/ROM, Keyboard and printer.
3. Boot Sector Reading:-
After checking the status of memory Operating System reads the disk area where OS is start, that disk area is called 'boot sector'.
After reading the boot sector OS is started to loading in RAM.
4. Configuration File Loading:-
In this step we load basic device driver and configuration files into RAM. After completing all the above step Operating System give the control to the user.
